How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked quickly and easily using the online booking system on our website. If you would prefer to speak with someone or have questions before booking, you can also contact us by phone on: 07784564096

Do I need to book in advance?
Appointments are recommended to ensure availability. All treatments at Misogi Rituals are offered on a private one-to-one basis.

How do I pay for my treatment?
Payments can be made online when booking, or in person at your appointment. We accept both cash and card payments. A deposit may be required when booking to secure your appointment.

Can I reschedule my appointment?
Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full booking policies.

What if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to avoid impacting the next client’s appointment.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your appointment begins with a short consultation to discuss your scalp, skin or wellbeing concerns so your treatment can be tailored to you. All treatments take place in a calm, private one-to-one environment.

What should I wear for my appointment?

For facials and head spa treatments you will be comfortably positioned on the treatment bed. For Reiki sessions you remain fully clothed and can simply relax.

Do I need a patch test before a facial?

Some treatments may require a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment, particularly if you have sensitive skin or allergies. If required, we will contact you before your treatment.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so you have time to settle in before your treatment begins.

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
Yes, however if you have booked a facial treatment we may ask you to remove makeup before the treatment begins.

What should I do after a facial?

Avoid wearing makeup for 12–24 hours if possible and avoid strong active skincare products such as retinol or exfoliants for 48 hours.

What should I do after a head spa treatment?

Your scalp will feel deeply relaxed after treatment. Avoid washing your hair again for at least 24 hours if possible to allow the products to continue nourishing the scalp.

What should I expect after Reiki?

Many clients feel deeply relaxed after Reiki. Some people feel sleepy or emotionally lighter. Drinking water and allowing yourself time to rest is recommended.

Can I buy gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers will be available soon and make the perfect gift for relaxation and self-care.

Is parking available?

Yes, there are parking spaces located directly at the entrance, making your visit to Misogi Rituals easy and convenient.

Misogi Rituals is located in Crosshill, Fife, offering private one-to-one treatments in a calm and welcoming setting.

Which treatment should I choose if I’m not sure?
If you're unsure which treatment is best, don’t worry. Every appointment begins with a short consultation so your treatment can be tailored to your needs.

How often should I have a head spa treatment?
For general scalp health and relaxation, many clients choose a treatment every 4–6 weeks.

Are facials suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Treatments can be adapted depending on your skin type and concerns following your consultation.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
No, there is no need to wash your hair beforehand. Your head spa treatment includes a scalp cleanse as part of the ritual.

Will my hair be dried after a head spa treatment?
Head spa treatments focus on scalp health and relaxation. Hair will be towel dried but professional blow drying is not included.

Can I still have a head spa treatment if I have long or thick hair?
Yes. Head spa treatments are suitable for all hair types. During your consultation we will tailor the treatment to your hair and scalp needs.

Can I have a head spa treatment if I have hair extensions?
Some extensions may not be suitable for head spa treatments. Please contact us before booking so we can advise.

Kids Treatments

What age are Little Ritual treatments suitable for?
Little Ritual treatments are designed for younger guests and are suitable for children aged approximately 6–14 years. A parent or guardian must remain present during the appointment.

Are the products used suitable for children?
Yes, Little Ritual treatments use gentle products designed to be suitable for younger skin.

Reiki

Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No. Reiki is simply a deeply relaxing treatment that supports calm and balance. You can simply relax and enjoy the experience.

What will I feel during Reiki?
Every experience is different. Many clients feel warmth, relaxation or a sense of calm during the session.
